A Note about Series 14

Hi all

I hope that you are excited about the launch of new Doctor Who next weekend! I thought that I would write a quick update ahead of the launch of the new series about how things will be going around here for the next few weeks.

The new episodes of Doctor Who will be dropping here at midnight on iPlayer and equivalent times in different countries on Disney Plus, with a more traditional Saturday air time on BBC One in the evening. That means that there will have to be a few changes due to the way I go about writing my reviews:

  1. I will be posting an instant(-ish) reaction on a Saturday morning after I have watched the episode(s) when they first drop. By their very nature, these will not be as comprehensive as a full blog post. I will be omitting things like cast lists and notes, behind the scenes and best moments and quotes as I will be endeavouring to steer clear of major spoilers in these instant reactions.
  2. I will then be posting a full, spoiler-filled review after the broadcast on BBC One on Saturday. I would anticipate that this would go live between 9pm and 10pm in the UK.
  3. The Sunday reviews will take a small hiatus whilst Season 14 is being broadcast. I will return with The Ultimate Foe on 30th June!
